Seven years ago my life changed instantly. I went from my "usual" self of being an active person who loved gardening and walking to being unsteady, barely being able to walk and other health issues. I was hunched over, wobbly and felt dizzy, nauseous and then vertigo. Everyday I woke up focusing on moving as best I could. I was determined not to get discouraged but when every healthcare professional, while having various opinions of what may be the cause, didn't know how to treat me. I found out about Dr Spiro on line and decided to give him a call. BEST decision ever! I was greeted over the phone by Carla. She was so friendly and helpful that I instantly felt comfortable. I came in for a comprehensive assessment. I have never had any professional spend that amount of time testing and talking to me to find out what was going on with my body. Dr Spiro is honest about how his work can or cannot help you. He truly cares and knows what he is doing. He tailors a treatment plan specifically for you. After only a few visits my balance started to improve and I walk more upright. My head feels clearer and the dizziness is fading. I feel better than I have for a very long time.I am still working with him and with every visit I feel confident that things will get better. I strongly recommend him and I am extremely grateful that he is here in London. Thank you Dr Spiro and Carla for giving me hope and support. I saw Dr. Spiro for a concussion that has lasted over a year now and I am so happy I made the trip to see him. I have seen many practitioners with little to no improvement until I saw Dr. Spiro and he has been by far the most helpful in my healing journey. His assessment was thorough and his treatments addressed issues specific to my concussion. He also provided an at home program with progressions that are easy to follow. Dr spiro is amazing. I’ve been dealing with dizziness for almost 3 years straight now and it’s affected my life to the point I can’t work and I’ve seen pretty much every other doctor and specialist you can think of. I was starting to give up hope that I could find someone that can actually help me until I found dr spiro. I’ve been seeing him for over 4 months now and I’ve seen a great improvement and slowly getting back to my normal life again. I am incredibly grateful that I found Dr. Ioannidis. During the acute stage of vertigo, I had already visited the hospital and received treatment that unfortunately was not providing relief. Hoping to find answers, I visited Dr. Ioannidis's clinic.
Dr. Ioannidis quickly assessed my condition, demonstrating both exceptional knowledge and the specialized tools needed to accurately diagnose the problem. He clearly explained the next steps and developed an effective treatment plan.
As I continued working with him throughout my recovery, he created a targeted rehabilitation plan that has been instrumental in reducing my day-to-day symptoms. In addition to treating my initial vertigo, he also identified and promptly treated a separate, unrelated episode of vertigo caused by BPPV.
Thanks to Dr. Ioannidis's expertise, thorough understanding of the complexities of my condition, and personalized care, I have been able to return to work and resume my normal daily routine.

I started working with Dr.Ioannidis about 1 month ago. At that time we went through an extensive and interactive neurological exam. He was very interested in what my goals were and making me feel instantly comfortable as I believed he had confidence in our future success.
My main issues were on my ability to navigate the world around me,to feel grounded, to know with confidence where my arms and legs were.With this skill dampened I grew more isolated. I also have brain fog, feeling like a wet blanket over my brain making it hard to concentrate and read for very long.
Over the last month my balance, equilibrium and feeling of being grounded have greatly improved. My brain fog is also starting to clear.
This has created a steady platform for me with which to dive in and explore all the neurological  findings.

Dr. Spiro has given me my life back as a young woman with POTS and I'm only about a month into treatment! I wish more folks knew about functional neurology and how much it can help regulate the body as a whole. I've gone from mostly bed bound, walking minimally, to walking an hour at a time and getting back to things I love like yoga and birding. After feeling very hopeless and left with a notion from my other healthcare providers that this is my "new normal" with POTS, it was such a relief to hear Dr. Spiro say he doesn't accept the concept of "new normals".
